4 ‘drug dealers’ killed in Teknaf shootings

Four people have been killed in a shootout between two groups of drug dealers in Teknaf, Cox's Bazar. 

Police recovered the bodies from Huaikeng East Satgharia Para in Teknaf on Tuesday morning.

Police said the dead were drug dealers. They were killed in a shootout followed by feud over yaba sharing among themselves. 

Some 50,000 pieces of yaba, two LGs and ammunition were recovered from the spot, said the police.

The four dead are – Md Ismail, 25, and Anwar Hossain, 22, of Huaikeng Satgharia area; Md Nasir, 23, of Kharangkhali area; and Md Anwar, 24, of East Maheshkhalia Para, said Teknaf Model Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Pradeep Kumar Das.
