Actress Sohana Saba arrested

Actress Sohana Saba has been detained from Dhanmondi on Friday midnight on charges of being involved in an anti-state conspiracy. 

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Additional Commissioner (DB) Rezaul Karim Mallik confirmed the matter to The Daily Samakal.

He said, "After actress Shaon, Sohana Saba was under our surveillance. She was taken into our custody. There are allegations of anti-national conspiracy against her."

Earlier, Meher Afroz Shaon was detained around 7:00pm on Thursday and she was being interrogated at the DB office.
