'Doob' set for October 27 release

Prominent Bangladeshi filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s much-talked-about film ‘Doob’ (English title “No Bed of Roses”) is finally going to be released.  

Owner of Jaaz Multimedia, Abdul Aziz has informed that the film will be released in Bangladesh and India at once on October 27 this year.

The film, produced by Jaaz Multimedia and Eskay movies and starring Indian actor Irrfan Khan in the lead had been stuck in limbo for a long time.

Abdul Aziz said that Irrfan Khan will come to Dhaka on October 25 and will take part in the campaign of the film’s release.

The film will be released in 100 cinema halls in Bangladesh and in 200 cinemas in India, he said adding that discussion is also underway with the distributors in Australia and Singapore.
