Bengal Classical Music Festival 2017 cancelled

The Bengal Classical Music Festival for this year has been cancelled due to the unavailability of its venue, Army Stadium.
The Bengal Foundation made the announcement in a press conference at the Hotel Westin in the capital on Sunday.
Bengal Foundation Chairman Abul Khaer Litu said at the press conference that the decision was made after taking the security of foreign performers into consideration.
The sixth Bengal Classical Music Festival was scheduled to be held from November 23 to November 27.
