‘We will do everything we can to bring Tarique-Zubaida back’

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said the government will do everything they can to bring BNP's acting chairman Tarique Rahman and his wife Zubaida Rahman back to Bangladesh from UK and to execute court verdict.

The misnister told the journalists after receiving a memorandum from Jubo League central leaders at his ministry office on Thursday.

The government will take legal steps to bring back fugitive convicts BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman and his wife Zubaida Rahman.

The Home Minister received a memo from Jubo League chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash and general secretary Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil seeking the return of Tarique Rahman and Zubaida Rahman from the UK as well as the execution of the court's verdict.

Taqiue Rahman and his wife have been convicted by the court, he said.
