'Nomination for next parliamentary polls on the basis of eligibility'

Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan has said that ruling Awami League candidates will get nominations for next parliamentary election on the basis of their eligibility.  

The minister told this to the reporters after laying foundation stone of the new building of Madaripur Officers Club on Sunday morning.

Awami League president Sheikh Hasina will nominate candidates on the basis of their eligibility, personal popularity, political experience, loyalty to the party and involvement with the people, he said.

The minister said that Awami League has taken all preparations for the 11th parliamentary election and the election will be held in due time as per the constitution, he said. 

Hinting BNP and Jamaat, Shajahan Khan said the people of Bangladesh won't vote for them who cherish terrorism, militancy and kill people by doing terrorist activities.
