Moudud’s physical condition deteriorates

Barrister Moudud Ahmed, a member of the BNP's standing committee, is being treated at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore.

Quoting his wife Hasna Moudud, Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP chairperson's press wing, told The Daily Samakal on Tuesday afternoon that Barrister Moudud Ahmed's physical condition had suddenly deteriorated as water has frozen in his lungs.

Earlier, he was taken to Singapore on a flight of Singapore Airlines on February 1.

He fell ill on December 29 last year and was admitted to the Evercare Hospital in the capital. He was brought home from the hospital on January 20. He was re-admitted to Evercare Hospital on January 21. 

Hasna Jasim Uddin Maudud, wife of former minister Moudud Ahmed, has urged the people to pray for her husband's early recovery.
