Pakistan advance to T20 World Cup semifinals

Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by six wickets on Sunday in Adelaide to easily advance to the T20 World Cup semifinals.

With the victory, Pakistan finished second in Group 2 and will now face New Zealand, which won Group 1 on November 9.

India, who won Group 2, will play England in the second semifinal the following day because the final four lineup was decided before India and Zimbabwe's Super 12 stage encounter.

Pakistan successfully completed the 128-run mark with 11 balls remaining and five wickets in hand. Two of Bangladesh's three substitutions, Nasum Ahmed and Ebadot Hossain, each grabbed a wicket, while captain Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman both took one. A run-out was the other.
