44.32 lakh new voters in updated list

The Election Commission (EC) has published the final updated voter list where a total of 44,32,927 new voters were included.

In the updated list, some 7,35,871 voters were excluded as they have already died. So, a total of 36,88,056 voters were added.

With them, the voters` number rose to 9,98,98,553. Among the voters, 5,03,02,362 are male and 4,95,78,191 are female.
