Restaurateur’s bullet-ridden body found in Mirpur

Bullet-ridden body of a young restaurateur was recovered from the capital's Mirpur area on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Rafiqul Islam Junayed,40, son of late Billal Bepari of Uttar Tularbagh in Mirpur, Dhaka, reports UNB.
Quoting locals, police said Rafiqul Islam had started for home form his restaurant ‘Shah Jalal Restaurant’ at about 12:00 am but since then he had not returned.
Locals spotted Junayed’s body lying in Dakkhin Bishil beside Kuwaiti Masque in the area around 6:30 am and informed police.
Police rushed to the spot and recovered the body at about 7:00 am.
Sub-inspector of Darus Salam Police Station Ahad confirmed the incident.
