Garo woman found dead in city

An unidentified woman of ethnic Garo community was found dead in the city’s Gulshan area on Saturday.

 

Being informed by locals, police recovered the body of the woman, aged around 30, from the road in Gulshan-1 around 9:15 am, said Humayun Kabir, sub-inspector of Gulshan Police Station, reports the UNB.

 

The body, clad in a yellow kamiz and jeans pants, bore at least eight injury marks in the right side of the abdomen and other parts of the body, added the SI.

 

Later police sent the body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
