N'ganj 7-murder: Judge's embarrassment to hear Tarek Sayed's plea

One Judge of the two-member High Court (HC) bench expressed his embarrassment to hear the a petition filed by Narayanganj seven-murder accused Lt Col (retd) Tarek Sayed Mohammad.
The seven-murder accused has filed the petition seeking the court's directive to cancel one of the two cases against him in the sensational seven-murder in the city.
After filling the embarrassment, the bench has sent the petition to the chief justice for taking further initiatives in this regard.
The chief justice will arrange another bench for hearing it.
The two-member bench comprises Justice Md Emdadul Huq and Justice FRM Nazmul Ahasan.
On April 27, 2014, seven people including Narayanganj city panel mayor Nazrul Islam and senior lawyer Chandan Sarker were abducted the Dhaka-Narayanganj link road.
Their bodies were later found floating on the Shitalakkhya river. Gutted and the abdomen filled with stones, they were dumped in the river.
