SC Judges (Remuneration and Privileges) Bill, 2016 placed in JS

The Supreme Court Judges (Remuneration and Privileges) (Amendment) Bill, 2016 was placed in the Jatiya Sangsad today with a provision for increasing the remuneration and privileges of the Supreme Court Judges.

 

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq, placed the bill in the House, reports BSS.

 

Later, the House with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair sent the bill to the concerned parliamentary standing committee for scrutiny and send it back to the House within 90 days.
