N'ganj humiliated teacher admitted to DMCH

Shyamal Kanti Bhakta, a Narayanganj schoolteacher who was publicly humiliated by the local lawmaker, was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for better treatment this noon.

 

Shyamal, 57, headmaster of Piyar Sattar Latif High School in Bandar area of Narayanganj, fell ill after his traumatic experience on May 13 and he was admitted to Khanpur 300-seat Hospital in Narayanganj.

 

According to UNB report, acting on a plea of his wife, the hospital authority referred him to DMCH.

 

The teacher was brought at DMCH by sub-inspector Abdur Rahman of Bandar Police Station of Narayanganj at 12.45 pm.

 

Shyamal is now under treatment at word number 601 of the hospital.
