DSSC fixes red meat prices ahead of Ramadan

The Dhaka South City Corporation (DSSC) on Thursday fixed the maximum price of per kg beef at Tk 420 and buffalo meat at Tk 400 ahead of holy Ramadan, reports the UNB.
The DSCC authorities also fixed the prices of mutton at Tk 570 per kg and lamb at Tk 470.
DSSC Mayor Sayeed Khokon made the decision at a views-exchange meeting with meat traders at Nagar Bhaban.
The mayor said the newly fixed prices would remain in effect from the 1st Ramadan to 26th Ramadan.
He urged the meat traders to maintain the standard of the red meat.
