Unrealised electricity bills cross Tk 4,926cr

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid Bipu today told the parliament that the unpaid bills from customers by different power distribution companies were at Tk 4,926cr and 80 lakhs in the country.
The Junior Minister unveiled the information while responding quires in the national parliament today.
'More than Tk484.44 crore and 90 lakhs were unpaid from the government institutions only,' the Minister added.
