Number of SIMs registered against NIDs to be known from July 7

State Minister for Posts and Telecommunication Tarana Halim today said, mobile phone users in the country will be able to know the exact number of SIM cards registered with their NID from July 7.

 

The Junior Minister unveiled the information while addressing journalists at a press conference, held at her secretariat office in the capital on Thursday.

 

Talking to journalists she also said, 'The initiative to inform biometric SIM registration will be launched on July 7.'

 

Separate government high ups were also present among others in the press conference on the day.
