'Be careful while granting bails to militants'

Law Minister Anisul Huq has urged the judges to be careful while granting bails to militants.

 

His call came while speaking to reporters after inaugurating a training program for new recruited assistant judges on Sunday.

 

The minister said, " I'll tell again that the judiciary is independent. Who to get bail or not isn't upto our hands. What we can do from the government or the executive’s side is that we can ask the prosecution to present their argument impeccably so that the judges won’t be able to grant bails (to the militants) in these cases."
