A three-member team of the forensic department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Wednesday morning started to conduct autopsy on the bodies of the nine suspected militants killed in a special police operation in the city’s Kalyanpur yesterday, reports the UNB.
Dr Sohel Mahmud, assistant professor of the forensic department, led the three-member medical team.
Two other members of the team are-- Dr Pradeep Biswas and Dr Sohel Kabir, both lecturers of DMCH.
They started conducting autopsy around 11am, said sources at the DMCH.
Earlier on Tuesday, the nine suspected militants were killed in police firing during an operation by a special team of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in Kalyanpur.
Their bodies were taken to DMCH on Tuesday evening.
