British Council Bangladesh offices shut temporarily

Citing security reasons here in Bangladesh, the British Council temporarily closed its all offices in the country in order to review their security procedures.

 

The British organisation announced the shut through a facebook post in their official page today.

 

In the post it reads, 'OFFICE CLOSURE NOTICE: Our offices are temporarily closed in order to review security procedures. We hope to reopen offices and resume normal services to the public once new security measures are in place.'

 

'During this temporary closure, our Customer Services will be responding to queries through email (bd.enquiries@britishcouncil.org), Live Chat (through our website www.britishcouncil.org.bd) and Facebook (through inbox messages) in the usual office hours,' the notice  added.

 

The council also wrote in the status, 'We regret any inconvenience caused.'
