A case has filed accusing 10 people, including the nine suspected militants who were killed in an operation by a special team of police in a building in the city’s Kalyanpur area on Tuesday, under the Anti-terrorism Act, reports the UNB.
Another accused Hasan, who was captured injured during the operation, is still undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital under police custody.
Officer-in-charge of Mirpur Model Police Station Mohammad Shahjalal filed the case with the police station under the Anti-terrorism Act early Thursday, two days after the incident, said Sub-inspector Aklima.
Earlier on Tuesday, nine suspected militants were killed in police firing during an operation by a special team of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in the city's Kalyanpur area.
