Arrest warrant issued against 6 Mymensingh war criminals

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 today issued warrant to arrest six alleged war criminals from Mymensingh.

 

"Justice Anwarul Haque, chairman of the three-member panel of the ICT-1, issued the warrant accepting a plea from the prosecution," prosecutor Abul Kalam said, reports BSS.

 

Apart from Abdus Salam, the prosecutor refrained from naming any other accused before the press. 

 

According to the prosecution, the accused were involved with crimes against humanity as they joined Rajakar and Al-Badr Bahinis, two most notorious auxiliary forces to Pakistani occupation army, in 1971.
