5 JMB suspects held with explosives in city

Members of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police in a drive arrested five suspected members of banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) along with some explosives from the city’s Mirpur area on Thursday, reports the UNB.

 

Tipped off, a team of CTTC launched a drive in the Technical intersection and arrested the five suspected to be JMB members along with some explosives and detonators at night, said Deputy Commissioner (Media) of DMP, Masudur Rahman.
