4 female JMB suspects held in city

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four suspected female members of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), including its adviser, from different places in the city on Monday night, reports the UNB.

 

Identities of the arrestees could not be known immediately.

 

RAB-4 headquarters sources said tipped off, a team of the elite force conducted a drive in different areas of the city and arrested the four female JMB members at night.

 

RAB members also recovered huge jihadi books, CDs and notes from their possession.

 

Details about the drive and arrestees will be informed at a press briefing later, the RAB-4 HQ sources said.
