18 Jamaat-Shibir men held in city

Police in a drive detained 18 leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir from a house in the city’s Badda area on Friday morning, reports the UNB.

 

Tipped off, a team of police launched a drive in the house on road no.8 in the area and picked up 18 Jamaat Shibir men while they were holding a clandestine meeting, said sub-inspector of Badda police station Nuruzzaman.
