Security to be tightened for Janmashtami celebration

Inspector General of Police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Hoque today instructed the police officers to take appropriate security measures for smooth and peaceful celebration of Janmashtami.
The order came from a meeting on law and order and traffic management ahead of Janmashtami held at conference room of Police Headquarters here.
Leaders of the Hindu community praised police for arranging tight security measures at different religious functions and festivals, reports BSS.
High officials of police and leaders of the Hindu community attended the meeting.
