Mir Quasem's review hearing adjourned again

The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court today adjourned the hearing on a plea of 1971 Al-Badr commander Mir Quasem Ali seeking review of the apex court judgement that upheld death for him for committing crimes against humanity, till August 28, reports the BSS.

 

A five-member Appellate Division panel headed by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha passed the order this morning. Yesterday, the defence in the case again submitted a time petition, pleading to adjourn the hearing for a month.
