Allowances for wounded FFs go up

The allowances for the wounded and titled freedom fighters in the country have been increased.

 

From now, the wounded freedom fighters will get tk.25 thousand minimum and tk 45 thousand in maximum as allowance while the titled freedom fighters will get tk. 15 thousand minimum and tk. 30 thousand in maximums.

 

The decision of increasing the allowance came in a meeting today.

 

According to the decision in the meeting, such freedom fighters will also receive two festival allowances as well.

 

The meeting sources said, the decision will be effective from January of the current year.

 

Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed were present among others in the meeting today.
