5 held with huge fake notes in capital

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) seized fake notes worth Tk 1 crore and detained five people in this connection in the capital.

RAB-1 detained the five from Banasree and Jurain areas of the capital in separate drives ahead of Eid-ul-Azha, RAB said in a text message sent to the media on Thursday morning.

RAB's media wing Director Mufti Mahmud Khan said fake note making equipments were also seized.  

Further details in this regard will be disclosed in a press briefing at RAB office later in the day, he added.
