Bullet-hit youth dies in city hospital

A young man, who sustained bullet injuries in a gun attack on a club in Motijheel AGB Colony on Friday night, died at Apollo Hospitals in the city on early Saturday, reports the UNB.

 

The deceased was identified as Rizvi Hasan Babu, 34, son of Balam Hasan.

 

Inspector (Investigation) of Motijheel Police Station Golam Rabbani said Babu and another young man Ahsanul Haque Imon suffered bullet wounds in a gun attack on a club in Motijheel AGB Colony by some unidentified miscreants on Friday night.

 

They were whisked off to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) and later Babu was shifted to Apollo Hospitals where he succumbed to his injuries around 2 am.
