Hizb ut-Tahrir leader Mohiuddin's trial begins

The trial of banned Islamist outfit Hizb ut-Tahrir leader, Mohiuddin Ahmed, has been started in an anti-terrorism case today.
A court here in Dhaka on Tuesday framed charges against six members of the banned Islamist outfit including its chief coordinator Mohiuddin Ahmed, in the case.
Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md Kamal Hossain has passed the order after rejecting a discharge petition filed by the six militants on the day.
October 24 has been fixed for next hearing in the case.
The five others are- Tanvir Ahmed, Towhidul Alam Chanchal, Saifur Rahman Razib, Kazi Morshedul Haque and Md Abu Yusuf Ali.
The case was filed against Mohiuddin under the Anti-Terrorism Act on April 19 in 2010 with Uttara Model Police Station.
