Coast Guard ex-DG arrested

Former director general of Bangladesh Coast Guard, Shafiq-ur-Rahman has been arrested, on Wednesday night in connection with a corruption case.
The Anti-Corruption Commission arrested the former director general of Bangladesh Coast Guard from the capital's Mohakhali area in the night.
ACC's Public Relations Officer, Pronob Kumar, has confirmed the detention to Samakal.
He is now in police custody, the officer added.
