Hilsha catching banned for 22 days

The decision in this regard was taken in a meeting held at the conference room of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock in the capital today.
All activities including procurement, marketing, buying, selling, transportation and hoarding of hilsha would be stopped for 22 days across the country, according to the meeting sources.
Fisheries and Livestock Minister Mohammad Sayedul Haq presided over the meeting on the day.
