5 ‘JMB men’ held in capital

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested five suspected members of banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) in the capital on Wednesday night.

The arrestees are the members of JMB’s Sarwar-Tamim group and were arrested in separate drives from capital’s Uttara and Adabor areas, according to a text SMS floated to media by the elite force.

The identities of the arrestees could not be known yet while the details in this regard will be made available at a press briefing later in the day.
