Plaque for 13 martyred journos unveiled

A memorial plague with portraits of 13 Liberation War martyred journalists was unveiled at Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) in the city today.

 

Information Minister Hasanul Huq Inu formally unveiled the plaque on the historic Martyred Intellectuals Day, reports BSS.

 

The memorial plaque installed at the gallery on first floor of PIB building contains the portraits of martyred journalists Sirajuddin Hossain, Shahidullah Kaiser, Khondaker Abu Taleb, Nizamuddin Ahmad, SA Mannan (Ladu Bhai), ANM Golam Mostafa, Syed Nazmul Huq, AKM Shahidullah (Shaheed Saber), Abul Bashar, Shibsadhan Chakrabartee, Chishtee Shah Helalur Rahman, Muhammad Akhtar and Selina Parveen.
