Gulshan attack: 2 aides of Tamim held

Security forces on Monday night arrested two members of militant group blamed for a deadly attack on a cafe in Dhaka in July.

 

The held are identified as Ariful Islam, 21 and Khademul Islam, 28, the aides of Gulshan café attack mastermind Tamim Chowdhury.

 

They have been arrested during a drive in the capital’s Pallabi area on Monday night, says RAB’s Mufti Mahmud Khan.

 

Earlier three militants, including Gulshan café attack mastermind Tamim Chowdhury, who were killed during a special raid of joint forces at a house in Narayanganj Sadar upazila, have been buried at Jurain graveyard in the capital on December 15.
