Shakil’s body taken to DMCH for autopsy

The body of Mahbubul Hoque Shakil, Prime Minster Sheikh Hasina's special assistant, was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for an autopsy on Wednesday morning.

Officer-in-charge of Gulshan Police Station Sirajul Islam said the body of the deceased was taken DMCH around 7:50am from Birdem Hospital mortuary, UNB reports.

Shakil, former vice-president of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), died at a restaurant in the city’s Gulshan area on Tuesday.
