Kader Khan is no one of JP: Ershad

Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman HM Ershad has claimed that Gaibandha MP Manzurul Islam Liton murder prime accused Abdul Kader Khan is no one of his party.

“He has no communication with the party for last three years. So, now he is no one of the Jatiya Party,” Ershad told journalists after a view exchange meeting with the party leaders at Rangpur Parjaton Motel on Wednesday. 

“Once Kader Khan was a JP leader and he was elected as the lawmaker from Gaibandha-1 (Sundarganj) constituency.  He has no communication with the party for long time. So, at present he is no longer with JP,” Ershad said.

The former JP lawmaker Kader Khan was arrested in Bogra yesterday for his alleged connection with the murder of Gaibandha-1 lawmaker from the ruling Awami League, Liton.

Meanwhile, a Gaibandha court today granted a 10-day remand for Kader Khan in the murder case.
