Kader Khan’s properties come under scanner

The properties owned by Abdul Kader Khan, former Gaibandha-1 (Sundarganj) MP of Jatiya Party (JP), who was arrested over MP Manjurul Islam Liton murder case, will now be under scanner.

 

Based on some allegations of having illegal assets and properties owned by Kader Khan, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), has taken decision to take initiatives to investigate in this connection.

 

The ACC authorities have taken the decision in a meeting on Sunday.

 

Sources from the ACC authorities have confirmed the probing saying, ‘The authorities concerned have started investigation in this connection form Monday (today).’

 

Abdul Kader Khan, former Gaibandha-1 (Sundarganj) MP of Jatiya Party (JP), who was arrested over MP Manjurul Islam Liton murder case, however, has confessed his involvement in the murder, say police.

 

The JP leader gave a statement in this connection before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Joynal Abedin in Sundarganj, Gaibandha on Saturday night.

 

Kader Khan was arrested from his residence at Rahmannagar Ziladarpara in Bogra district town on Feb 21.
