24 'traffickers' held in city

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained 24 members of alleged international human trafficking groups from several areas in city.

RAB-3 officials sent a SMS to media on Wednesday.

The elite force also recovered huge amount of passports, fake visa and instrument to make it and Tk 6 lakh ransom from the detainees.

A total of 10 trafficking victims headed to Malaysia and 27 people for Libya were also rescued, RAB said.
