3 more suspects held over Uttara schoolboy killing

Police have arrested three more suspects in the sensational murder case of Uttara school boy Adnan Kabir.

The police members of Uttara West Police Station made the arrest on Wednesday night from Tongi area in Gazipur.

The three have been identified as Md Rajin, 20, Shakil Sarkar, 19, and Makrul Islam, 19.

Hedaet Hossain, sub-inspector of Uttara West Police Station, said the three will be produced before court and remand will be sought to interrogate them.

Adnan Kabir, a ninth grader of Trust School and College, was killed allegedly by teenage gang members of Uttara on January 6.

Adnan’s father Kabir Hossain filed a murder case with Uttara West Police Station. Police also arrested several people earlier in connection with the murder.

Police suspects Adnan was killed following the rivalry among the local teenage gangs in Uttara.
