9 human traffickers held, 9 victims rescued in city

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained nine members of human trafficking gang and rescued nine trafficking victims from several areas in capital.

RAB Media Wing director commander Mufti Mahmud Khan said, being tipped off, they conducted a drive in the area and detained the nine people along with huge passports, fake visas and instrument to make it.

The elite force also recovered money taken from the victims as ransom proposing to send them in Malaysia and Cyprus.

RAB sent an SMS to media on Wednesday.
