Militancy spread for lack of democracy: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Sunday said the Militancy has spread in the country for lack of democracy.
He also alleged that the government is using the issue of militancy for political purposes and patronizing the militants.
The BNP spokesperson came up with the remark after inaugurating a rally of the party in the city marking the country's 47th Independence and National Day.
Everyone has to raise their voice against the militancy, he said adding that the government has to discuss with the political parties to solve this immense problem.
