Hasina meets Modi at Hyderabad House

Bangladesh Prime Minister Shiekh Hasina on Saturday held a one-on-one meeting with her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi for half an hour at the Hyderabad House in New Delhi.

An agreement on Teesta river water-sharing appears unlikely even though West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is expected to meet the two PMs and join a lunch being hosted by Modi for Hasina today.

Sheikh Hasina, now in New Delhi on a four-day official visit to India, was accorded a warm ceremonial reception by Indian Premier Narendra Modi at the Forecourt of Rastrapati Bhaban this morning.
