AL has no compromise with Hefajat: Obaidul

Awami League (AL) has no compromise with Hefajat-e Islam, said general secretary of the party Obaidul Quader.

Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, said this at a press briefing at Dhanmondi office of the ruling AL on Thursday.

The party arranged the media briefing in a reaction of Wednesday's press conference of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia where she alleged that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's recent India visit an unsuccessful one.

AL is doing politics upon the reality based situation of the country, he said adding, "Our thinking is not similar to the Hefajat."
