Jubo League leader shot dead at Hatiya

One Jubo League leader was shot dead at Hatiya Upazila under Noakhali on Thursday.
The dead was identified as Md. Nurul Amin, 27 while at least five others were also injured in the incident.
Shooting incident happened at Bhoirab Bazar area of Charkin union, this noon.
The injured are known as- Md Moktar Hossen, 35; Monir Uddin, 30; Selim Uddin, 28; Abul Bashar, 30 and Amir Hossen, 34.
They were rushed to separate health complexes in the upazila.
Police and local sources have confirmed the dead and injured to Samakal tonight.
Hatiya thana Officer-in-Charge (OC), Md Abdul Mozid, has said, the situation here is now under control and policemen have been deployed in the area to avert further tension in the area.
