2 killed in Shyampur road mishap

Two people were killed and another was injured in a road mishap at Shyampur in Dhaka.

The incident took place in front of Sarkar petrol pump at Shyampur early Saturday.

The deceased are Shamsher Ali and Salam. The injured Shah Alam has been admitted to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).

According to police and witnesses, a speedy truck hit another truck that broke down on the road around 4:00am at Shyampur, leaving Shamsher dead on the spot and two others injured.

Meanwhile, the on duty doctors at the hospital declared Salam dead after taking him there.

Ashraful Haque, a sub-inspector of Shyampur Police Station, confirmed the incident.
