HSC exams to begin November 6

The Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will begin on November 6. 

Around 14 lakh test takers from 9,183 institutions across the country's 11 educational boards are anticipated to take the exams at 2,621 centers.

According to the instructions of the education ministry, the HSC exams for 2022 would be shorter and carry less overall points.

The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee decided that the exams would last for two hours (1.40 hours for written exams and 20 minutes for MCQ). Exams for the HSC took three hours before the pandemic.
