Freedom fighter Habibur Rahman Sanni dies

Valiant freedom fighter Habibur Rahman Sanni of Bangla Motor in Dhaka died on Monday. 

Born on July 17 in 1951 to Ayesha Aziz and Lutfur Rahman, Sanni was also an avid collector of antiques and vintage cars, said a press release. 

He is survived by his loving wife Donira Rahman and children Saadi Rahman and Sabah Rahman; daughter-in-law Tasmia Chowdhury, son-in-law Ahsan Z Khan, grandchildren ZZ and Izzy and siblings Dr. Najma Rizvi, Maj Gen (Retd.) Nurul Islam (Shishu), Dr. Mohammed Anis, Dr. Maniza Johnson, Kaiser Aziz, Iqbal Aziz, and Mahmud Rahman (Bonny).

His first namaz-e-Janaza was held at Baitul Mobarak Jame Masjid in Bangla Motor after Zuhr prayers and his second namaz-e-Janaza was held at Gulshan Society Jame Masjid after Asr prayers. 

He was buried at Banani graveyard in the city with state honours.
