Youth held with 10 gold bars in Jashore

Boarder Guard Bangladesh in a drive held a youth with 10 pieces of gold bar from Rudrapur frontier in Sharsha upazila in Jashore district on Tuesday.

The arrested was identified as Shakib Hossain, 19, hailed from Goga village in the upazila, reports BSS.

BGB sources said, on information, a team of the force conducted a raid at Goga village around 10am in the frontier and held Shakib with the gold bars weighing one kg and 233 grams.

Commander of BGB-21 Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Tanveer Rahman confirmed it.
